Welcome to UACC

As a Christ-centered church grounded in the teachings of the Bible, we believe that our main purpose is to glorify God.  He is our Creator and Sustainer, the giver of Life and the giver of meaning.  For that reason, He is also our primary pursuit.  Through worship services, Bible studies, discipleship and other activities, we strive to engender an irrepressible excitement about the things of the Triune God of the Bible in each of our parishioners.  We are convinced of the truth of Romans 8:36: For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Yet, Jesus teaches openly that to love Him means to also love our brothers and sisters in Christ: John 13:35 says, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”  Coming to Christ means coming to a new community in Christ as well.  At UACC, community matters.  Through fellowship groups, all-church family nights, after church luncheons, and even a new all-church retreat, we seek to build true community and mutuality among our members.

Finally, Jesus called on His followers to be “salt” and “light” to the world—this matters profoundly.  The church’s mission has always been to “make disciples of all nations.”  We know that Christ Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—we want people to come to the Father and it can only happen through the Son.  So through various mission organizations, outreach events, and service projects, we take the Gospel to the world and hope to draw the world “out of darkness, into light.”
