Haig Darakjian grew up attending Sunday school at UACC. When he was in high school, he gave his life to Christ and became very active in the UACC youth group. When he graduated from high school, he continued his education at UC San Diego. Although he loved San Diego, he came home every weekend to continue attending UACC and serving as worship leader and high school leader. During his first year in college, God called him to ministry and the Church confirmed his calling. So, after graduating from UC San Diego, Haig went on to complete his Master of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology in 2010.
Haig is married to his wonderful wife, Nora. He is the son of Drs. Nazareth and Ani Darakjian, and the grandson of Rev. Barkev Darakjian. He has a brother, Ara.
