Oasis is an intergenerational women’s bible study group that gathers on Wednesdays during the school year, in the mornings at 10am and evenings at 7pm.  The Oasis women are led by the Director of Women’s and Children's Ministries, Searan Kiledjian, supported by a group of volunteers that help teach the morning and evening studies. The Oasis morning group offers free childcare, incorporating a biblical component to the childcare.

Oasis studies have included expository studies of various books of the bible, character studies and topical studies. Recently, the women have studied the complete books of James, 1st & 2nd Timothy, Ruth, Esther, Galatians and Genesis, studied the life of David, the Apostle Paul as well as studies on Spiritual Gifts, Loving God with your mind and more. This Spring, the women are studying "Gospel in Life," by Dr. Timothy Keller. This study is, "an intensive 8 session course on the Gospel and how it is lived out in the all of life- first in your heart, then in your community, and then out into the world" (Keller).  The bible study groups are interactional, led by the discussion leaders, and open to dialogue with attendees.

We praise God for blessing UACC with an opportunity for the women to grow in this way, as He pours into the lives of the women and God simultaneously uses the women to pour into the lives of one another.
