Children's Ministries

Greetings! Welcome to the UACC Children’s Ministries Department.  We are so honored and blessed to take part in the ministry of the Lord.  God has blessed our program with children of all ages, as we aim to shepherd each of them, and to lead, encourage and teach them in the way of the Lord.  What a great responsibility and honor to model Christ’s example and to help raise them in His ways.  We are grateful to walk alongside families and be a part of the spiritual upbringing of the children in our church family, as we all work together striving to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We thank God the UACC Children’s Department has been blessed with dozens of volunteers who take hours out of their week to prepare, guide and teach the younger generations.

Our program includes classrooms for children of all ages, from newborns to High School Seniors.  Newborns through 2 year olds go through the “Play-N-Worship” curriculum, where they go through various stories in the bible set to music, learning biblical Truths from a young age. 2 year olds through 6th graders go through, “Generations of Grace,” which is a curriculum that teaches entire bible in three years; studying each book of the bible and the various lessons God teaches in each of the 66 books.  This allows for our Sunday Schoolers to learn from a young age how the Old Testament and New Testament fit together, how the Lord has been constantly and consistently working throughout time, how the same themes show up in the Old and New Testaments and much more.  The Junior High and High School students are led by our Youth Pastor, Haig Darakjian, who along with another youth ministries leader, teach the Junior High and High School classrooms.

Along with our regular Sunday School program at 9am and 11:15am, we also have a faithful team of volunteers that lead our Armenian Christian Heritage program. During the school year, we set aside the first Sunday of each month, to teach our 4 year olds through 8th graders our rich Armenian Christian Heritage.

Along with our Sunday School program, we have numerous ministry events that take place throughout the year – such as missions projects, weekly worship, Vacation Bible School and much more.

Vacation Bible School takes place in the summer time, for two weeks, where children have the opportunity to spend the day at church, worshipping the Lord through learning music, interactive bible lessons, lesson based puppets, games and snacks and much more!

If you are not a part of our church family and are considering joining a church, please feel free to join us on  Sunday morning at 9am or 11:15am.  If you have any questions, please contact me at the church office at 323-851-5265 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
