What is our purpose?

The UACC junior high group is designed to empower our younger students to stand firm in their faith by teaching the basics and grounding their knowledge in God’s Word.  Although life brings many challenges along the way, we know that students prepared well will be able to endure.

When do we meet?

On Friday nights at 8:00 p.m., the junior high students gather with the high school and college students for a powerful time of worship. After worship, the junior high group splits off to have its own faith building studies from God’s Word. After Bible study, students enjoy a time of fellowship, refreshments (provided by our Parents Committee), and organized games until 10:30 p.m.

On Sunday mornings, the junior high group meets for Sunday School at 11:15 a.m.

What are we studying?

On Friday nights we are in a series on the book of 1 Samuel.

On Sunday mornings we are in a series on the book of James.

What about camps and retreats?

Every year, we participate in retreats with Camp AREV and Forest Home.

What else do we do for fun?

Every Friday evening, we have youth hangout time in our gym and our youth room from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. We have organized monthly activities including board game nights, hiking, pool parties, basketball tournaments, and ice skating. Also, junior high students can sing in our youth choir.
