The Romans 12:15
Ministry
The Romans 12:15 ministry
reaches out to the UACC church family in times of short-term needs. Paul
wrote to the Romans, "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those
who mourn." As the needs are determined, the volunteers are called
upon to provide care, such as a phone call, sending a card, a hot meal, a
ride to church, or a helping hand at times. This ministry supplements the
lay pastor, visitation and pastoral ministries of the church, helping
increase the level of care for the congregation.
Camp Arev
Camp Arev is the only Armenian Evangelical summer camp/conference
center in the United States. It is active all through the year but especially during
the summer months, during which our young people, in different age groups, attend life
changing Christian conferences. Many come to know Christ as their personal Savior,
or if they are already believers, get stronger in their commitment. There is much
work to be done at the camp ground and with your help it can be done.
Campus Crusade for Christ
David and Heidi Michaelian are helping to spread the Gospel of Jesus
Christ on the USC campus. Young people are searching for someone to explain the
life-giving message of Christ and they do just that.

from churches in the community. They supply training and support for the foster
parents such as equipment, babysitting and back up Foster homes.
The Armenian Missionary Association of America

Bibles and medical clinics. This is only a few of the projects they have. They
are located in New Jersey.
Church in Nor Marash (Lebanon)
This is a large Armenian Protestant Church in a very poor area in
Lebanon. It has very little funds to support this ministry. It also has a
school adjacent to the church. It needs our moral and committed support. It
has a congregation of about 175 people.
C. & E. Merdinian Evangelical School
Besides providing a quality education, this school exposes its
students to Christian values. Students, who come from different backgrounds, must
attend chapel services, hymn singing, and Bible classes and is their only exposure to
Christian teaching. Merdinian School is a mission field that deserves our support.
Hope Now for Youth
Hope Now for Youth in Fresno are meeting with success in their
efforts to change the lives of young men in the Fresno community. They not only work
with at risk youth who are in danger of gang involvement and drug abuse, but they are
successful in finding jobs for many of these young men, thus helping their families.
Mission Aviation Fellowship (Rick & Rebecca
Emenaker)
Rick & Rebecca Emenaker and their three
children are finding out how the
Lord leads in directions that they never dreamed they would go. During the
last nine years they worked as missionaries in Suriname, South America.
Rick & Rebecca finished their project, turned it over to their Suriname
local counterparts, and are now in Moscow, Russia. Please keep Rick and
Rebecca in your pryaers.
Wycliffe Bible Translators (Anne and Ken Haugh)
Anne & Ken Hough live in Indonesia and he serves as a principal
of a Mission school helping missionary children receive an education, while their parents
are in the field. They have 2 children.
The Walter Hoving Home - Pasadena, CA
Since 1967, the Walter Hoving Home has been committed to helping
women who are homeless, addicted, alcoholic and involved in prostitution and other
criminal behavior. The objective of the home is to initiate a total change of values
in the lifestyle among the women it serves. More than 800 ladies have completed the
two-year program, which has a structured classroom setting, teaching the ladies skills
needed to work a job. The Pasadena facility can house up to 60 women.
Summer Camp Workers - Armenia & Middle East
This is a program that sends our young people from the U.S.A. to
help run Christian camps in the mountains of Armenia and the Middle East. Some of
the children who come to these camps have never left home for this kind of an experience.
It is a great witness for our young people to help at these camps.
Hollywood Urban Project (HUP)
HUP targets a neighborhood in Hollywood of 15 square blocks where
most families are low-income Latin American as well as Armenian. The staff lives in
the neighborhood and after school programs are an integral part of the ministry.
Tutoring, a girl's Bible study and youth outreach night are some of the ministries.
New Direction for Armenian Youth
This ministry is located in Hollywood and reaches students in nearby
High School and Junior High. It has an after school program where kids may come and
do their homework and learn to use computer. It helps the students to keep off the
streets and they also have Bible Study classes, too. These are low income, new
immigrants to this city.
Women of Vision
This ministry is a program to help poor women and their families
around the world. Women of Vision educates and motivates women to become women of
action to share our God given resources to meet the needs of suffering women and their
families worldwide.
Campus Crusade for Christ International
This ministry helps international students adjust to their new
surroundings on Campuses where they attend in the U.S. When they arrive at school,
they are given kits with the Jesus Video in their language as well as Christian
literature. This helps the student to develop as strong believers and take their new
faith back to their homeland and reach others for Christ. We supply funds for these
Freshman Survival Kits.
